Appointments & availability
Appointments work the other way round from classes. Nothing sits on the calendar until someone books. You publish your availability (the windows you are free), and a session is created the moment a client takes a slot. Each slot takes one booking.
One offering, not one per class
Section titled “One offering, not one per class”It’s tempting to mirror every class you teach as a separate private offering. Think about what is actually being sold instead: an hour of your attention. The price and the length are the same either way, and what happens in the hour is agreed on the day.
So a studio usually creates one appointment activity, for example Personal training, and each coach publishes availability against it. Add a second appointment activity only when it is a genuinely different product, such as a free 20-minute intro call next to a paid 60-minute session. Those differ in price and in who may book.
Pricing
Section titled “Pricing”Each duration can have its own price, and member benefits can make it included or cheaper for certain plans. See Price appointments.
