Schedule & classes

Your schedule is built from two things. Activities describe what you offer, and sessions are when it happens. Set up an activity once, then put it on the calendar as often as you like. See Core concepts for how they fit together.

Go to Activities and choose New activity.

  • Name, description, colour and cover image are what people see on your booking page.
  • Offer as decides how it is booked:
    • Class: you put it on the calendar, and people book a seat.
    • Appointment: people pick a time from a coach’s availability. See Appointments & availability.
  • Who can book and the prices come from your plans and your drop-in and trial settings. See How pricing fits together.
  • Confirm bookings automatically accepts bookings straight away. Switch it off to review each one.
  • What a visitor sees adds the details people read before they book: prerequisites, meeting point, what’s included, a cancellation policy and an FAQ.
  • Booking questions ask something about each booking, such as “Any injuries today?”.

You don’t delete an activity you no longer run: you archive it, so its history stays intact.

Open Schedule and choose New → New class. Pick the activity, then set:

  • Start and Duration
  • Coach, Place and Room
  • Max participants, or leave it with no limit
  • Allow online booking, so the class appears on your public booking page
  • Booking required, if people must book in advance and can’t just drop in

Switch on Repeat this session to create a series:

  • Repeats: daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, every N days, weeks or months
  • On: the days of the week
  • Ends: never, on a date, or after a number of sessions

A preview lists the upcoming sessions before you save.

When you edit or delete a session that is part of a series, Linyup asks which ones you mean:

  • This session only, for example a holiday or a one-off room change
  • This and all following sessions, for example a new time from next month

Past sessions are never changed.

  • Schedule shows a calendar by Day or Week, and a Month overview.
  • List shows Upcoming and Past sessions.
  • Filter by type (classes, appointments, events), by activity, or by coach. Only me shows your own sessions.
  • Day sheet gives a printable overview of the day.

An event is a one-off with its own registration, such as a camp, a seminar, a competition or a grading. It isn’t an instance of an activity, so it has its own title, dates, location and optional fee. Create one from Schedule → New → New event.
